A standard Western wedding scavenger hunt asks guests to find "something blue" and "the best dance move". These prompts miss everything that makes an Indian wedding extraordinary: the dhol player's performance, the intricacy of the mehndi patterns, the aunties watching the baraat with tears in their eyes, the groom in his sherwani arriving on horseback.
